Day 1

Digital Worlds and Real-Life Wonder

After an overnight flight into Singapore, the Repton Abu Dhabi tour is officially underway! Our first wow-moment came immediately at Changi Airport, where we stopped to admire the spectacular Rain Vortex - the world’s tallest indoor waterfall - glittering beneath the Jewel’s glass dome.

From there, we headed straight to our first activity - the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay. We stepped into the immersive digital universe of teamLab’s Future World, where interactive light, colour, and motion transformed every space into a living piece of art.

Next, we explored the thought-provoking exhibition, Another World Is Possible, a fascinating collection that reimagines how technology, nature, and human creativity could shape more sustainable futures. The students were captivated by the mix of installations, from speculative architecture to interactive eco-design concepts.

After a packed morning of discovery and inspiration, we had some well-earned lunch and a little shopping time before heading to our next adventure.

Skyline Views and a Sunset Cruise

In the afternoon, we made our way to the top of the iconic Marina Bay Sands, where breathtaking panoramic views of Singapore awaited us. With clear skies and perfect weather, we were able to take in the city’s glittering skyline, lush gardens, and stunning waterfront from one of the best vantage points in the world.

Afterwards, we checked into our hotel and took some time to freshen up before the next adventure - a Marina Bay river cruise. Gliding along the water, we passed by some of Singapore’s most famous landmarks, including the Merlion, Marina Bay Sands, and the vibrant financial district.

We ended the evening with a relaxed dinner, before turning in early - everyone was ready for some well-earned rest after an exciting first day!

Day 2

Fresh Flavours and Future Farming

This morning we visited Kok Fah Technology Farm, where we learned how this family-run farm uses modern greenhouse and hydroponic technology to grow a wide range of leafy greens. We even got to taste some of their freshly harvested salad and try aloe vera products made on-site.

Inside the greenhouse, the students saw how sustainable agriculture works in practice - from automated seeding to controlled-environment growing systems that reduce waste and improve efficiency.

We ended the visit with time to explore their produce market before heading off for lunch

Robotics, Creativity, and a Taste of Singapore

In the afternoon, students took part in an exciting LEGO Robotics session, where they built and programmed their own LEGO vehicles to complete a series of challenges. They were fully engaged, experimenting, problem-solving, and celebrating every successful run of their creations.

In the evening, we rounded off the day by sampling authentic Singaporean flavours at a local hawker market before exploring the vibrant and colourful Clarke Quay, one of Singapore’s most famous waterfront districts. A perfect way for everyone to experience the city’s vibrant food and amazing culture.

Day 3

Master Chefs in the Making

This morning was all about cooking as we headed to The Kitchen Showdown at Boat Quay. The students took part in an exciting Hawker Challenge, where they learned to prepare two Singaporean classics: Hainanese chicken rice and the popular dessert ondeh-ondeh.

They chopped, diced, fried, and boiled their way through the recipes, creating some truly impressive dishes - and a few future chefs definitely revealed themselves! After all their hard work, everyone sat down to enjoy the dishes they had cooked for lunch, which made the experience even more rewarding.

To wrap up a fantastic morning, the Hawker Challenge Champions and Most Valuable Chefs were crowned, celebrating creativity, teamwork, and some seriously delicious results.

Sustainability, Nature and Winter Magic

In the afternoon, we visited the Sustainability Gallery at Gardens by the Bay, where students learnt how Singapore conserve water, reduce energy use, support biodiversity, and turn green design into real-world environmental action.

We then explored the two famous conservatories. The Flower Dome - the world’s largest glass greenhouse - showcased colourful displays and plants from Mediterranean and desert climates. The Cloud Forest was a highlight of the day, with its cool mist, towering indoor waterfall, and dramatic walkways. Amongst this backdrop was an amazing Jurassic Park themed experience, complete with moving dinosaurs, which made the whole conservatory feel like stepping into another world.

After dinner, we visited Winter Wonderland in the Supertree Grove, filled with festive stalls, lights, music, and attractions. We ended our evening beneath the glowing Supertrees, watching the spectacular Garden Rhapsody light show - a magical end to another jam-packed day.

Day 4

Entrepreneurship in Action

This morning we had a fantastic Entrepreneurship Session with the brilliant Michael Campion, a dynamic entrepreneur and educator known for his energetic workshops that empower young people to think creatively and confidently about business. He immediately connected with the students, getting them excited about how ideas can grow into real opportunities.

He guided them through brainstorming sessions, encouraging them to explore problems they could solve and businesses they could develop. The room was buzzing with imagination, teamwork and bold thinking.

To finish, the students took on a Dragons Den–style pitch, presenting their business ideas with confidence and enthusiasm. It was an inspiring morning, full of innovation, courage and some genuinely impressive pitches!

Singapore Stories & Night-time Safaris

This afternoon, we visited the Singapore Discovery Centre, where students explored interactive exhibits that tell the story of Singapore’s past, present and future. From immersive galleries that recreate key moments in the nation’s history, to hands-on activities and inspiring displays about innovation and identity, the centre offered a thoughtful mix of education and fun.

Afterwards, we made our way to the Singapore Night Safari, where we indulged in a delicious Asian buffet before setting off on our night-time adventure. The Night Safari, the world’s first nocturnal wildlife park, is home to over 900 animals from more than 100 species. As we rode the tram through the park, we spotted all kinds of animals coming to life after dark, including elephants, rhinos, and even white tigers. It was an unforgettable experience and a brilliant way to end another fantastic day.

Day 5

History, Culture and Iconic Sights

This morning we set off on a guided sightseeing tour of Singapore, taking in some of the city’s most famous landmarks. We began at the elegant Victoria Concert Hall, before walking part of the Formula 1 track and crossing the historic Anderson Bridge - a great moment for all the racing fans!

Next, we made our way to one of Singapore’s most iconic sights, the Merlion, where the students enjoyed taking photos with the city’s legendary symbol.

From there, we headed to Haji Lane, a vibrant, colourful street known for its indie boutiques, eye-catching murals, quirky cafés and creative atmosphere. It gave the students a real feel for Singapore’s modern, artistic side.

Our final stop was Chinatown, where we explored the impressive Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and then enjoyed some time to shop for souvenirs - a perfect chance to pick up gifts and mementos from the trip.

It was a fantastic morning, full of learning, culture and great stories from our guides.

Urban Wonders and Island Adventures

In the afternoon we visited the Singapore City Gallery and the Monetary Authority of Singapore Gallery, where we learned how Singapore plans its urban landscape and how its financial system supports the nation. Both gave us a deeper understanding of how the city functions and continues to grow.

After all that learning, it was time for some thrills on Sentosa Island at the Skyline Luge. We raced each other down the twisting, scenic tracks - a big highlight of the day and full of laughter and friendly competition.

For dinner, we headed to Lau Pa Sat Hawker Centre, where everyone tried a range of delicious local dishes. We finished the evening with some free time on Orchard Road, the perfect place for shopping and exploring Singapore’s famous retail street.

Day 6

Adrenaline and Adventure at Universal Studios

Today marked the grand finale of the Repton Abu Dhabi Singapore tour, and we couldn’t have asked for a better ending than a full day at Universal Studios Singapore. From the moment we saw the iconic globe entrance, the excitement kicked in. Students darted between zones, taking on everything from the high-speed Cylon to the fiery surprises of The Mummy. The laughter was nonstop and even the afternoon downpour couldn’t dampen our spirits. Ponchos on, we kept exploring, riding, and squeezing every bit of fun out of the day. By the time we left the park, everyone was buzzing with stories to tell.

In the evening, we came together one last time for a relaxed group meal at Nando’s. Over plates of PERi-PERi chicken, we shared highlights from the week and celebrated the birthdays within the group. It was a brilliant way to round off what has truly been a fantastic tour.
