THE TWEDEX FOUNDATION


The Twedex Foundation is a brand new initiative dedicated to empowering underserved communities through the transformative power of education and innovation. The Foundation’s mission is to create sustainable change by providing educational resources and essential support to communities in need.

As a school tour operator, TWEDEX regularly works with school groups across destinations including Sri Lanka, Nepal, Vietnam, Kenya, and South Africa.

Our groups have always been passionate about leaving a meaningful, positive legacy beyond their time abroad, and we believe the TWEDEX Foundation helps us do exactly that.

From helping to mark out and paint new sports courts, to supporting pre-tour fundraising initiatives, and providing training and educational support for local teachers and coaches, our goal is to create lasting impact. By sharing skills and resources, we aim to strengthen educational and sporting opportunities for young people in the communities we visit through our school tours.

    Partnership: Supporting Peraliya Sri Jinarathana Maha Vidyalaya

    Through our efforts, we have helped improve learning conditions by providing essential resources, enhancing facilities, and supporting both students and teachers in their day-to-day education. Our work here is part of a wider commitment to creating equal opportunities for young people around the world, ensuring that every student—regardless of location—has access to a safe, inspiring, and well-equipped environment in which to learn and grow.

    Al Noor Centre Dubai

    Al Noor Centre works in partnership with Twedex Foundation to support inclusive learning and development programmes for individuals of determination. Through this collaboration, Twedex helps enhance opportunities, experiences, and resources that promote confidence, independence, and meaningful growth in a safe and supportive environment.

    Together We Learn Ethiopia

    Together We Learn: Ethiopia is a Twedex Foundation initiative designed to bring students into a meaningful cultural and educational exchange experience. Working alongside local communities and partners in Ethiopia, the programme focuses on learning through real connection, encouraging students to step beyond the classroom and engage with different perspectives, traditions, and ways of life.

    The experience is built around growth, empathy, and understanding, helping students develop confidence, independence, and global awareness while contributing positively to the communities they visit.

    Spartans Community Foundation

    Spartans Community Foundation Scotland is a community-based organisation that uses sport, education, and social programmes to support young people and families across North Edinburgh. Through football and wider outreach initiatives, the foundation focuses on inclusion, wellbeing, and creating positive pathways for personal development. As part of the Twedex Foundation network, Spartans Community Foundation Scotland contributes to impactful, experience-led programmes that encourage teamwork, confidence, and community engagement.
